Jewish Family Service has developed into a highly respected training site for Associate Marriage and Family Therapists and Social Workers. Jewish Family Service provides a wide range of clinical experiences.

Many MFTs throughout Ventura County obtained some or all of their pre-licensed hours through Jewish Family Service. Associates receive weekly group supervision from our Clinical Director, Nancy Finley LMFT. The clinical supervisors are careful to keep up on current theories as well as BBS requirements. Associates will have the experience of working with a wide range of issues with their clients. Associates will have mini-training sessions during their supervision, and may be referred to many more. Jewish Family Service strives to provide an experience that is positive, caring and ethical with many learning opportunities.

Associates are provided one two-hour group supervision session per work week. This allows them to complete 10 counseling hours per week. Ideally, Jewish Family Service seeks Associate candidates looking to make a one year commitment.
