Clinic Counseling

 
Individual, couples and family therapy are provided to people of all ages at our clinic in Ventura. Our Counseling Services are non-denominational. Therapists see clients who are struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety and trauma. Other issues include serious illness, divorce, phases of life and adoption.

All Counseling Services are confidential and provided in a warm and nurturing atmosphere. Counseling services are provided by Licensed Marriage Family Therapists (MFTs), and Associate Marriage Family Therapy (Associate MFT ). Associate Marriage and Family Therapists are supervised by our Clinical Supervisor.

JFS receives referrals from a wide variety of sources including Ventura County Behavioral Health, Medical Clinics and private physicians, other mental health professionals, 211 and satisfied former clients. Clients are typically seen weekly but may on occasion be seen bi-weekly or monthly. We are a cash only counseling center.  Client fees, are based on a sliding scale determined by the clients average monthly income.
